Key FeaturesÂ
Engineered to code. The 46′ is a fully engineered structure designed to meet site-specific snow, wind, and rain load requirements. Truss spacing from 6′ to 16′ allows the structure to be configured to meet applicable building code. Stamped engineering documents are available for Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions.Â
No foundation required. The 46′ anchors without a poured foundation using screw anchors, concrete blocks, rig matting, or pony walls. For remote sites, exploration leases, or projects with defined end dates, that makes a meaningful difference in total project cost and site disturbance.Â
Baserail available. Baserail is an optional addition on the 46′ and can be configured based on site conditions and anchoring requirements.Â
46 feet of clear-span interior. No interior columns across the full width. The floor plan is entirely open, which supports the movement and staging of wide equipment, heavy vehicles, and large material volumes.Â
20-foot interior ceiling height. Overhead clearance sufficient for the majority of large commercial and industrial equipment, including most mining and oil field vehicles and machinery.Â
Large door openings. Door options up to 16′ wide x 15’ high can accommodate most industrial vehicles and heavy equipment. Multiple configurations are available.Â
Relocatable. The 46′ can be dismantled and redeployed when site needs change. For operations across multiple locations or projects with defined lifecycles, that retained asset value matters.Â
Extendable. Length can be added as requirements grow without replacing the existing frame.Â
Can be insulated and heated. Full insulation and heating packages are available for year-round operation in northern and cold-climate environments.Â
Common ApplicationsÂ
Used across resource, agricultural, and industrial sectors where a canvas building or fabric building at this scale is needed without the timeline and cost of permanent construction:Â
- Heavy equipment and machinery storage
- Mining site maintenance facilities and equipment enclosures
- Oil and gas exploration and production site buildings
- Large-scale agricultural equipment storage
- Industrial fabrication and staging areas
- Remote site workshops and covered work areas
- Contractor and project site storage for large fleets and materials
Why FastCoverÂ
