Wide Open Space

Low Maintenance Exterior

Our fabric exterior has a low coefficient of friction which results in most materials simply sliding off.  With a rounded roof peak, there is little to no place for airborne materials such as rain, snow and dust to gather.  The result is an exterior that does not need frequent cleaning to maintain its stellar appearance.  The fabric contains UV inhibitors to air in the resistance of fading colours and the covers do not require painting.

Corrosion Resistant Steel Framework

At FastCover, we have our own high-temperature powder coating paint facility on site which bakes the paint to the steel elements at 450 degrees.  All our truss components are powder coated after the welding process to protect them from exposure to any corrosive elements.  The glass-like, non-abrasive, smooth finish resulting from the powder coat process also prevents any premature wear in the fabric cover.  Our FastCover Epoxy Coating formulation is also available for buildings that will be housing high corrosive materials.

Utility Cost Savings

A FastCover Industrial Building can help to save on lighting, heating, and cooling costs.  Unlike a traditional building design, the translucent covers permit the transmission of daylight through the covers, often resulting in no interior lighting requirements during sunlight hours.  At the same time, the fabric covers do not radiate heat in the summer or cold in the winter as will happen with other roofing materials.

Foundation Flexibility

With our continuous outer base rail frame, FastCover buildings do not require a permanent foundation. FastCover screw anchors for ground mount applications allow your portable structure to be erected almost anywhere. For more permanent foundations, FastCover recommends a variety of options including concrete footings or piers, concrete block foundations, screw piles, or wood posts.

To add additional height to your FastCover many customers erect concrete, wood, or steel pony walls of varying heights. You can also mount our portable buildings onto more permanent foundations with the use of the FastCover base rail bracket.

Modular Design can be Relocated

Think of FastCover buildings as components that can be assembled, disassembled, and relocated to where they will have the most value for your business.  In addition,  the trusses are manufactured to produce truss sections that can be transported to any location with a flat bed semi truck service.  In fact, we have even had our building components delivered by helicopter to some remote locations.

As your road maintenance operation changes and your storage needs expand, so to can your building.  A new building section can be connected to an older building section, effectively making a longer building and more storage available.
